Information About A Career In Real Estate
In order to become a licensed real estate agent in the state of Mississippi, you must successfully complete real estate courses from an approved school or university. All real estate courses offered by Mississippi universities are acceptable. There are several schools offering courses acceptable for licenser; some are online, some are classroom and some are online with a live instructor. However you learn best, there is a class for you! I highly recommend the training through the Mississippi Association of REALTORS®. Their school offers both classroom (at various locations around the state) and online training. University courses can be taken either at the university or as home study courses in your free time.
After completing the course work, you must pass the State license exam. This exam is given by appointment at various testing facilities around the nation.
