Information About A Career In Real Estate
In order to become a licensed real estate agent in the state of Mississippi, you must successfully complete two real estate courses from an approved school or university. All real estate courses offered by Mississippi universities are acceptable, and the only school offering courses acceptable for licenser, is run by the Mississippi Association of REALTORS®. The school's courses are offered at numerous locations throughout the state and the university courses can be taken either at the university or as home study courses in your free time.
After completing the course work, you must pass the State license exam. This exam is given by appointment in the Jackson office of the Mississippi Real Estate Commission.
